I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The package is labeled "made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients". While people tend to view this in a negative light, the "made in the USA" designation does not guarantee that products are produced with the highest-grade ingredients or under strict quality and food safety standards. Often, there are higher quality standards in foreign countries so knowing the country of origin is critical. I would prefer more transparency. Opening the package, the smell is okay but not as fresh as some favorite products. The size of each treat is good for my 12 lb dogs. My food-motivated pup seemed to like it right away; but my other pup, who has been known to refuse food, left it on the floor before circling back and eating it. The next day when bringing out the bag, there was not the high anticipation behavior that they show for their favorite treats. The product seems good, and I may buy it on super sale, but it would not be my first choice.

I was a bit skeptical at first since our lab prefers stick based treats and biscuits, but he loved it a lot! It really comes in handy if you are trying to get your dogs attention. Definitely will recommend this to anyone with a dog thats food or treat motivated.

We have used these treats every time we come inside from our walks! I know he likes them because he sits right in front of the counter. Benny can be picky about his treats and definitely shows it. Recommend this for picky eaters

We used these treats as special, high value training and reward treats. They are kind of large, so we didn’t use them as every day treats - much to Archie’s dismay. They have a very strong, though not unpleasant aroma. I would definitely purchase them again. Archie also gives 2 paws up!
