I received this product for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The package is labeled "made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients". While people tend to view this in a negative light, the "made in the USA" designation does not guarantee that products are produced with the highest-grade ingredients or under strict quality and food safety standards. Often, there are higher quality standards in foreign countries so knowing the country of origin is critical. I would prefer more transparency. Opening the package, the smell is okay but not as fresh as some favorite products. The size of each treat is good for my 12 lb dogs. My food-motivated pup seemed to like it right away; but my other pup, who has been known to refuse food, left it on the floor before circling back and eating it. The next day when bringing out the bag, there was not the high anticipation behavior that they show for their favorite treats. The product seems good, and I may buy it on super sale, but it would not be my first choice.

I was a bit skeptical at first since our lab prefers stick based treats and biscuits, but he loved it a lot! It really comes in handy if you are trying to get your dogs attention. Definitely will recommend this to anyone with a dog thats food or treat motivated.

We have used these treats every time we come inside from our walks! I know he likes them because he sits right in front of the counter. Benny can be picky about his treats and definitely shows it. Recommend this for picky eaters

We used these treats as special, high value training and reward treats. They are kind of large, so we didn’t use them as every day treats - much to Archie’s dismay. They have a very strong, though not unpleasant aroma. I would definitely purchase them again. Archie also gives 2 paws up!

I would definitely be buying these Wholehearted Culinary Cuts Burger patties in the Chicken flavor again as treats for my dog. These are small, protein based treats which were enjoyed by my dog very much!

I have three small dogs (two chihuhuas and a Pomeranian) and they loved these treats! They were very easy for the dogs to chew and my dogs were very excited to receive them. The treats seemed fresh and were easy to break apart into smaller shapes. However, the treats were small enough on their own for the dogs to safely eat.

What do I like about these treats? I like that they are made in the USA, do not have any artificial colors of flavors, and are corn free. I do not like that they do not have grains and include pea protein and starch, as legume type of ingredients in dog food have been shown, via research, to cause heart problems. They also do not smell very enticing and do have an artificial smell. While my dogs, who are not picky eaters and very food motivated, chomped these down easily, I was hoping the treat would be softer so that I could tear the pattie up into small bits as a high value treat to continue to train my puppy to willingly enter his crate. However, they are a bit tough. The pattie itself is about the size of a 50 cent coin and one bag contains a good amount, which is nice. I think if you are ok with feeding pea ingredients and your dogs are not picky eaters, and you're looking for a treat that has simple ingredients, this one will do the trick.

These are awesome! Our dog (50lb, 3 year old pitbull) went mad for these! We give them to him as treats, or on top of his regular food and he absolutely loves them. The ingredients are great too. They are also a good treat size, enough bite for a bigger dog, but perfectly fine for smaller dogs too. Really happy with this product we will definitely be getting more.
