We purchased this food yesterday from our local store. There were a lot of crumbs at the bottom of the bag in addition to being full of maggots and bugs.

These are my Dog's favorite treats! But if I break them into 3 pieces, she lets me know that is not 3 treats, but 3 broken pieces!

Frequently out of stock and one dog w/ soft stools

They keep asking for my opinion, so here it is... Originally I was feeding the beef version and one of my dogs always had soft stools. I decided to try the chicken, but he continued to have soft stools. After being out of stock of both beef and chicken several times (not to mention the price going up), I finally decided it was time to change brands. I'm now feeding my two dogs Iams, and the stool has improved. I have fed Iams to several dogs in the past, one was a lab mix that lived over 18 years! Additionally, I can purchase Iams at virtually every store, so their food not being in stock should not be an issue again. Petco, if you're going to have your 'own brand', you'd better make sure it is always available. I'm guessing I won't be the only or last customer moving on.

No, I do not recommend this product.
