Made my dogs very ill

KKRJ

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. All three of my dogs got violently ill after consuming it. I thought maybe I switched too fast even though I adjusted their food properly but I tried it again after a couple of weeks and immediately, diarrhea (including bloody stool) and vomiting restarted. One of my dogs was so sick, I thought she was going to die. Never again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Check expiration date!

I've been buying this for my dog in hopes it would help with her gas. She's a 50 pound aussie. It worked wonders! No more gas and she poops less. It even smells chickeny when I open the container. About 3 months ago we had an issue with a bag that had expired over a year ago(maybe even 2, i cant remember) It smelled stale and the color was dull. The world's least picky dogs even refused to eat it and might explain some of the recent bad reviews. Make sure to check the expiration dates when buying in store! Otherwise great product that I will be buying again and again. Petco workers did a good job by getting us a new bag for free.

Yes, I recommend this product.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE!

Please do not feed this to your dogs! I bought this mainly for one of my two dogs who I adopted who was noticeably thin to begin with from the shelter. As it high protein and for active dogs it should’ve done wonders for him… WRONG! He’s skin became inflamed and red as he started itching like crazy. His stools became more and more loose all within a matter of a few weeks into the full transition. The poor baby lost about 10 pounds because of how upset his tummy was he wasn’t getting any nutrients from it. I’ve switch to purina pro plan and he’s been great since. No issues and gaining weight at an healthy pace!

No, I do not recommend this product.
