Two Picky Dogs, What to do?

The Dogfather 2

Purchased at the recommendation of an employee and fellow picky dog parent to address the differing needs of my two dogs. Hoping to bulk up my older dog and to maintain the weight of my younger high maintenance dog; both are acting like young dogs and get the zoomies, something it's been years since I've seen that in the older dog. I do have to occasionally add some cheese or other dairy when they are particularly picky, but they both love it! Been using it for a few months now and the older dog is still on the leaner side, so I will have to see if the other recommended supplements from Whole hearted might do the trick.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I love this dog food chicken and beef formula. But the fact that can’t buy the 45lb bags is ridiculous. I have large breed dogs and the smaller bags just don’t last long enough. Petco please pay attention to your loyal customers.

The dogs like the food though I've not switched them completely, I'm still waiting for a response from corporate on copper content before deciding to switch completely. I bought the Active Performance beef and rice because of what it doesn't have in it. No flax, soy, corn, wheat or peas, pulses or legumes. Very hard to find a food out there that doesn't have one or more of these ingredients in it!

Yes, I recommend this product.

It started with not having the 45lbs anymore which blew. It used to be good good but now some of my dogs are turning their noses up to it and getting soft stools from it, looking to switch once again, sucks.

Hi I was wondering if I feed this to my dog and also give him a bully protein supplements

Feeding question: At 4 months my puppy was approx 40 lbs and now at a little over 5 months he has gotten to be over 50 lbs.  Should we increase his feed according to the guide or should we keep same amount until he gets to 8 months?

      1. Got by his projected adult weight.

Will there be a chicken free option available soon?

      1. Hi Cwash, This recipe does not use any chicken protein sources. The chicken fat is included as it’s one of the post palatable ingredients for dogs and shouldn’t carry the same sensitivity risks as chicken. As of now we do not plan to offer any additional recipes, but will keep the inquiry in mind for any future item additions. Thanks,
