Dry coat

I went through an entire bag (takes about two months) and my dog's coat went from perfect to dull, dry and this is a dog that has no protein allergies and has never once in his 4 years of life had dry skin. My dog gets fish oil daily as well as a balanced fresh food diet in conjuction with this food, I don't recommend it to anyone. He liked it okay but he had loose stools and a dull coat, which disappointed me. He was however, not itchy, he also does not have any food allergies or sensitivities. A positive thing is that I had to feed him less than I would a lower protein, lower fat food, he kept his weight on despite being a working dog, highly active. I will say that.

Two Picky Dogs, What to do?

Purchased at the recommendation of an employee and fellow picky dog parent to address the differing needs of my two dogs. Hoping to bulk up my older dog and to maintain the weight of my younger high maintenance dog; both are acting like young dogs and get the zoomies, something it's been years since I've seen that in the older dog. I do have to occasionally add some cheese or other dairy when they are particularly picky, but they both love it! Been using it for a few months now and the older dog is still on the leaner side, so I will have to see if the other recommended supplements from Whole hearted might do the trick.

Yes, I recommend this product.

        Hi Cwash, This recipe does not use any chicken protein sources. The chicken fat is included as it’s one of the post palatable ingredients for dogs and shouldn’t carry the same sensitivity risks as chicken. As of now we do not plan to offer any additional recipes, but will keep the inquiry in mind for any future item additions. Thanks,
