which foods are best for dog with allergies and an enlarged heart

This question is for david elezbeth: Is 30-50% carbs an appropriate amount in dog food? I just started my dog on honest kitchen dehydrated dog food and these are the typical range in carbs. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
Jack (12 lbs) licked an empty bowl of chocolate ice cream. The ingredient in the ice cream is cocoa. He probably got a few good licks in before I caught him. Again, bowl was empty, he just licked the sides and spoon. Help?
Just recused this little guy... very malnourished, just started gaining some weight. He is missing many teeth so eating is a problem, he does he the small bites. I have a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. He is 2 years old and my husband and I have had him for a little over a year. He is on a grain-free dog food and treats due to allergies and we have to clean his ears about once per week or else he will be shaking his head because his ears are bothering him. Lately he has been chewing on certain areas. We have washed him with an anti itch shampoo that has helped some. Any more suggestions on what we could try???
