The White Skirt Tetra will make an awesome schooling fish. Their unique color pattern is bound to impress. This little guy will thrive in aquariums with plants and drift wood, which will help stimulate their natural habitat. They prefer very clean water and neutral pH to thrive. This Tetra will display optimal coloration and health in a planted aquarium. The Black Skirt has smaller mouths and will need pellet and flake foods small enough. They are a smaller, non-boisterous fish, so they should be paired with other peaceful fish that make them feel safe and do not compete for food. Consider a group of seven of these fish to be an absolute minimum as far as stocking goes.

I have a freshwater fish in my aquarium that I cannot identify. It resembles a Mosquito fish but is lighter in color, thinner, swims differently, and has what appear to be sparkles on its sides. I caught it with a net in a school of mosquito fish but it is different. it was the only one in the school that looks the way it does. I found it in the shallow part of a lake in Florida. Please help me identify it.
Black molly with a white spot near the anal fin. Is she pregnant
I recently got a tropical fish tank off of craigslist. There's two black skirt tetras, one white tetra (might also be a skirt), and one guppy. All 4 recently had ick. The three tetra get along well but the guppy is making me worried. He was at the bottom of the tank when we got him but he still swims around to eat. Is there anything I can do to make sure he gets better? P.s. We are doing a 30% water change after I get a response. I also have money set aside to buy him a school. Thank you!
How to introduce betta fish to neon tettra, guppies
My beta fish has a swollen stomach and had turned white, can you help please
Hi, I had a bettas fish and a clown pleco. A day after doing a complete cleaning of the tank, my better fish died and my pleco started acting weird. I tested the water. Ph 7, ammonia 0, nitrate 0, nitrite 0. He is not eating, his skin started to look like white, like shedding? And now is like coming off. Also, his belly is bloated. I attached pictures.
I am planning to put either tetras or danios in a 10 gallon. How can I tell if their female or male? Im not wanting to breed them so what do I do of they lay eggs? Am I suppose to move the eggs to a different aquarium and if I do will they still hatch?

Also have changed filter once a month, siphoned 25% water/debris out every two weeks using water conditioner but don't know why we have murky water and how to remedy this...
