Overpriced

ChocoBear

My dog, who usually loves any kind of treat, was not interested in it. It is overpriced considering that it is basically made of potatoes and there is nothing much better about this than other products, but it is more expensive.

Makes my golden sick unfortunately

I’ve been using these since my dog was a pup (he is now almost 2.) At first they were fine but after over time he started vomiting hard chunks & I noticed big orange clumps in his poop. It took me a little bit to figure out what it was. To be fair he does choke things down fairly quick (I have given him the appropriate size brushee per his weight throughout his growth.) Even after very good supervision I just don’t think these are right for him. He loves them though which is a bummer!

Good Dental Treat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first my dog thought these were a toy, but he eventually figured out that they’re a treat and seemed to really enjoy them. I also liked that they didn’t leave a mess behind when he was done.

Treats for your teeth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pup is very picky when it comes to her treats. She has a certain shape and brand that she only trust. I was scared actually at first giving this to her, BUT NOT ANYMORE!!! She is always excited having this that she would always runaway when I am giving her, scared someone might take it from her. Although, I brush my pup's teeth regularly I love that it gived added protection to her pearly white teeth!

How long should a dog chew a whimzees brushzees for it to be beneficial. My pet chews a small in 3 minutes and a medium in 6 minutes. I am concerned about her eating a medium every day because it is big. She is 32 lbs.

  1. My dog will chew a medium just as quickly. I would only give a 32 lb dog a small. It's veggie based, so it is quick for them to chew, not as hard as bone

Are Whimzees made in the USA?

  1. They are made in Holand

ARE THESE DOG TREATS SOFT?

  1. No, no they are not... a little on the hard side - not crunchy hard, but like a hard Twizzler or hard MaryJane chew candy... neither of my dogs has any issue getting into them.. :)

My dog LOVES the dental toothbrush. How often can I give him one?

  1. I do every other day or so. Mine gets constipated when i give them everyday but every other hasn't been an issue at all. Ill do mid-day at the office to keep him busy. HE does have a very easily upset stomach though so I imagine those without stomach issues daily wouldnt hurt.

they say they are glutenfee and yet there is malt extract which contains glute

  1. Malt extracts contain a varying amount of gluten depending on the type of extract. Some gluten-free food products may still legally use malt extract as an ingredient. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, these products can legally be labeled "gluten-free" as long as the gluten concentration in the final product does not exceed 20 parts per million, which is the lowest consistently detectable level of gluten.
