My bichon puppy tried it for first time today. He really enjoys it. Petco has the singles to buy to make sure your dog will like them. We got this one and now we will be getting a bag of them. Wished they lasted longer but he enjoys it

Bought this once for my dogs and now they need them on a regular basis! I think a lot of it has to do with the store and recommendations from the staff we have serving us at the La Mesa store in CA.

Dangerous for Small Dogs weighing under 15 lbs.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I bought this treat at Petco for my dog not thinking how dangerous it would be. He got sick not once but twice and after the second time he got sick it dawned on me that it was the veggie stick as that was the only new thing that he had diff. Symptoms included shaking, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, lethargy. I am shocked that a less than $5 treat would cost me $1200 in vet bills alone. Whimzees Customer Service did say that these are not meant for small dogs weighing less than 15 lbs. for what reason she did not give but something tells me that this is the reason why. I did buy it out of the "bulk ben" which she said should have said the size guidelines on there. I honestly don't remember seeing this as I just picked it up from one of the endcaps before paying. While this may be a good product for other dogs this absolutely has not been a good one for my dog. My dog is a 11 lb. Shorkie with no other medical issues until being introduced to this item.

Great almost all the time, very dry sometimes

Most of the time they are great, and they do help with my dogs plaque on half a stick a night before bed. However occasionally there are sticks that are dry, and very hard which i refrain from giving my dog because i can't even make a mark in those with my fingernail and they snap as though they are made out of plastic when they are that hard.

Baxter is a growing puppy. Baxter has allergies to meat derived products including eggs so we've had to source alternative options and really pay attention to ingredients listed and labelled. The veggie sausage stick has been a great alternative, safe, long lasting chew, good for oral care and most of all allergy free!!

I have a 10 Lb. Shitzu age 9. She has had trouble digesting this product. Will throw pieces up a few days after eating. I have concerns this product is not a suitable product for many dogs.

Are these safe for an 8-9 pound pomeranian? Should I be cutting them in half for each serving? I only give him one every few days, but I'm seeing that they are suggesting 15-25 pound dogs. Thank you in advance
