Made my dog sick

I tried this with my cocker spaniel, who immediately became ill. He was in obvious discomfort for several hours and 24 hours later was vomiting undigested green whimzees chunks.

My dogs eat it super happy, I love the results level of cleanliness worth the higher price, the shape is super cute the reason for the 4 stars is the amount of treats in the large size pack wish it was more so I had to make less trips to the store

My service dog is weird and only likes the alligator shape. Unfortunately, large and xl alligators are not sold in bulk and buying multiple 3 packs is insanely expensive. Given his love for these and his severe allergies to many other treats, I would love to purchase these more often, but it’s not feasible.

I am bummed I haven't been able to find these in my area. My dogs love them... NEVER A PROBLEM. I send them home in my "puppy go home bags" with my customers. If you have any individually wrapped samples that say "Whimzees" on them, that would be great for breeders and rescues to give out. Otherwise it's just an Alligator Chew.

May 2 adore the alligator chews. My 2 year old literally cries if I run out of them by mistake. She won’t go to sleep as she has one a night at bedtime. She sits at the cupboard waiting to be given the treat box where she will choose which one she wants. She then runs to our bedroom and lies on the bed eating it. Sometimes I struggle to get hold of them and so have to get the small ones. She knows the difference and has made such a noise I’ve had to go get her a 2nd one. My 11 month old also loves them. He soon got into the routine also. He knows to wait until my 2 year old has got hers before he can get one out of the box. We have tried other makes but they both refuse to eat them.

Makes my dogs sick every time they eat them

I was giving these to my two dogs weekly to help prevent tartar and as a treat. I buy the variety box of Stix, Brushzees, and Alligators. One dog threw them up every time right after, but we figured it was his sensitive stomach. We stopped giving them to him but continued to give them to our other dog. My other dog kept throwing up the next day (we gave them in the evening after their dinner) and we couldn't figure out why-she was throwing up what looked like compressed kibble. We kept it in a bag for the vet visit next week. Finally, she threw up a whole, undigested alligator leg and we realized they were making her sick, too. All three types are making her sick. This dog has the stomach of a goat and never gets sick. I don't know what's in them making her sick, but not risking another dog getting sick from them. For how many reviews say these make their dogs sick, you would think they would investigate why. There are multiple posts on Reddit about the same complaint. Especially with how expensive they are.

Gave my puppy diarrhea for 48+ hours

DO NOT give your dog these treats! My dog had major diarrhea for 48 hours. I literally had to throw away two rugs and air out my house from smelling like a sewer after giving my dog one if these small treats. Beware!!! I don’t recommend!!!

My friend and I have the same breed dog, a year apart in age. She has given her dog whimzees dental treats since he was a pup (size appropriate). His teeth are literally perfectly white with no staining whatsoever, and he has fresh breath.. My dog on the other hand is only two and has stained teeth already even though I try to brush them.. I didn’t know about whimzees until I was at her house one day and looked at those white teeth. Needless to say I started my dog on them and already see a drastic improvement.. What I don’t like is that they’re recommended to have one a day but only offer a box of 24.. I know it’s a marketing ploy so you have to buy two boxes… I don’t like that. They should at the very least offer 30 in a box.. I can only give an 4 overall resting for this reason.. otherwise there would be a million stars..
