Too funny :)

I spotted these at the vet when I took Taro for his second vaccine ... although not for average puppies they are perfect size for my 3m Akita ... he disappeared for hours ... I had to keep checking he was ok ... no noise ... just pure concentration on chewing down on hedgehog ... I've just bought a box of 30 !

Now in order to help remove plaque and tartar they need to have specific shape characteristics and they need to have a certain hardness. Young dogs aren’t always capable of adequately chewing our products plus they are still developing their strong swallowing reflexes. As a result, they might bite off and swallow large chunks of our product which can be harmful. When puppies have reached the age of 9 months and are capable of adequately chewing and swallowing, it is perfectly safe to give a daily WHIMZEES. I bought this for a neighbor's Cane Corso. Huge dog. He seemed to enjoy it.

She wouldn't eat the red one until she was desperate and out of other options. It was definitely a good "eat this not me" substitute. The hedgehog definitely keeps my 7 month old busy for days at a time.

My dog is a “super chewer” and I am always looking for something for him to chew that is safe and long-lasting. My local pet store introduced me to Whimzees and gave me the idea to stuff the hollow part of the hedgehog with a mixture of unsweetened peanut butter & crushed dog food OR unsweetened Greek yogurt & crushed dog food, then freeze for an occasional treat. Such a great idea! My dog loves it. Lasts for an hour or so!

These are awesome. Really cleaning up my middle aged dog teeth. So much better than the other stick variety that is gone in less than a minute. Just wish they weren't so expensive. Same amount of ingredients. Just in a different shape. I can't afford them every day. =(
