If I drain the soup, how much food is left in the can?
- Thanks for all the answers. I typically have not feed canned food but this brand looked a bit interesting. I bought some cans recently (thanks for your posts- it prompted me to purchase) and only used the shredded chicken so far- I do not drain all the sauce just some, and my 2 golden doodles loved it. I will slowly introduce the full can so they get used to it. It looked like a kid eating their first mac-cheese. Thanks again for all the answers, thinking I found a good soft food brand.

I have a 5 mo. Shitzu/pikinese mix. She will not eat her too quality puppy dry food unless I mix about a tsp.of liverwurst. I adopted her from a rescue and they had mixed in chicken. How do I get her to eat the dry food with no addition of meat. Is the liverwurst ok?

Our 3-year old basset/lab/terrier mix has been struggling with loose stools - not diarrhea but loose. We were giving him Wellness brand complete health chicken, but since the issues started we've been doing cooked chicken, rice, and pumpkin. We'd like to get him back on kibble but I have no idea what direction we should go i.e. ingredients to look for/avoid. Any advice? All my googling indicates it's very idiosyncratic and trial-and-error, but this seems so inefficient and not good for our pup.
Senior dog hesitate to eat food
My Border Collie-Pit mix, Walker, is allergic to chicken, and I unknowingly fed him dental sticks with natural chicken in them for about a week. We’ve been to the vet to stop the vomiting, stuck to a bland diet and he gets Prilosec every day. Now that that regiment is nearing an end and Walker feels much better, what food should I feed him? Should I look for sensitive stomach blends? What brands are the best? What should I stay away from (OBVIOUSLY chicken)?
My dog 4 months old gets diarrhea from eating Merrick real lamb wet a tablespoon ( limited diet) and Merrick salmon dry. But when I gave him pasta and mashed potatoes for 2 days very little diarrhea left and bi gas and no stomach churning and noises? Any suggestions? He is a cane corso Labrador mix
