I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
Just recused this little guy... very malnourished, just started gaining some weight. He is missing many teeth so eating is a problem, he does he the small bites. Hello I'm Candace I have 2 Yorkies they both have pancreatitis. I usually feed them moistened diamond puppy and boiled or canned chicken. A lady at Petco suggested I mixed in some grain free fresh pet food mixture and alternate with freeze dried Stella &Chewy's meal mixture (which is moistened with warm water). She said grain free bcuz they often have diarrhea or soft/mucas poop or my male dog has trouble pooping. I did this for 2 days. They love it but have had some soft poop. Is this normal?

Is this recipe safe for almost 5 month old GSD puppy? 1 banana, 1/2 cups peanut butter, 1/3 cups chicken stock, 1 cup wheat flour. All baked together.
