why is it talking about rice if this has potato in it?
- The old Limited Ingredient formula was Salmon & Ground Rice. The new formula Salmon & Potato has only been available for a short time, so apparently somebody updated the carbohydrate source, but not the accompanying description. Potatoes are a better carbohydrate source since they are not a grain and many dogs are grain sensitive. Hope this helps! :-)

I bought my dog Rachel Ray grain free salmon dry food, unfortunately he was allergic to it. I also bought him nature's recipe salmon grain free dry food and he is always thirsty. I don't know what else to buy him. Which food do you reccomend?

Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. Is that even healthy missing all of those food groups? Right now my dogs are on Blue buffalo freedom grain free.
I just switched my dogs to Only Natural Pet Canine PowerFood Reduced Fat Grain-Free Dry Dog Food to try to help with some anal gland issues a vet suggested may be allergy-related (the reduced fat aspect is due to other established sensitivities). However I just saw where the FDA released a warning regarding grain-free diets being linked to DCM in dogs. Should I be concerned about their food? Ingredient list photo attached.

I’ve been feeding my dog Performatrin Ultra turkey and potato dog food for a few years now. It is grain free dog food. I’ve been reading articles about grain free not being safe for dogs but when I asked the pet store about it they’ve told me it depends on the ingredients in grain free food and that this brands ingredients are fine. Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). What's the best animal protein for dogs with sensitive stomachs? Salmon, beef, duck, etc? (I was told no chicken because of Jack's past liver issue). I always hear limited ingredient foods are good but are they balanced and have all the nutrients dogs need?
My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. She goes on x4 25 min walks a day. Is this a good food to help her maintain a healthy weight and be active? Thanks!
