My dog likes it, but very difficult to open

KKelly

My dogs likes the casserole, in particular, but the petite entrees packages are very difficult to open, The pull tab is tight and I am only occasionally able to open the package without resorting to cutting into the top with a knife. When I am able to get it open with the tab, the force I have to use is strong enough some of the contents come out on my hands.

Great food if you can get the package open.

My pets love this food and other than the huge price increase it is the food of choice for my pets. Have complained several times that you can't open the package, it hasn't gotten better.

Good product and variety but hard to open

GT59

These products look good and my dog likes a few of the varieties. My problem is with the pull tabs on the tubs of Petite Entrees. I have strong hands and it still takes me a few tries and finger grips to grab the tab and try to pull the cover open. I often just cut the cover open with a sharp knife; but that risks any leftover portions going stall or spilling. Wellness needs to rethink how these can be opened or even creating a larger more economical resealable container that also saves on excessive packaging.

Cause temporary blindness

ChiLife

This is the only diet my dog is on so I am 100% certain this was the cause of her going blind temporary. It happened twice where she lost her eyesight after her dinner meal. I stopped feeding her this food and she hasn’t had any problems. These are serious claims that should be addressed with an immediate response. For a food to cause temporary blindness this is concerning and alarming. I will be sharing my review so no other pet parent has to experience this.
