When I run out of cat food I give my cats either tuna in water or sardines in tomato sauce, whichever I happen to have on-hand. This happens about once every two months. Is there one of those I shouldn't give them? Or should I give them one over the other if I have both? They haven't had any I'll effects to either (and prefer sardines).
I am trying to help a 13-year-old cat put on weight. He has never liked wet food but I remember helping an older cat with health problems to get some calories by feeding A/D wet food. Is there a similar super palatable food that is not vet prescribed that I might try? My cat's health is good. Recent blood work by my vet showed not problems at all. Thanks.
Whatโs the best cat food I can give to my cat? Sheโs a Bombay and is 2 years, 5 months and she really likes chicken and turkey flavors. I tried Rachel Ray, natural balance and she dosent like there wet food for some reason?
My cat has been puking up to 4-5 times a day. We have her on grain free food. She is indoor only. She has no access to chemicals. She poops regular. She has access to her food all day. Puke doesnโt look out of the regular. Just looks like chewed up food. What do I do to help her not puke.
My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
My cat is 10 years old and appears healthy. Lots of energy and nice cost. He seems to have a problem chewing his Purina Naturals after many years of no problems. He works to break them into smaller pieces Is there a softer dry food? I don't want to go to canned food if possible.
She ate about 15 of the Purina whisker lickins Yummy and Crunchy cat treats. She has always been healthy. Will she be okay??
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
Sorry I forgot to ask, Regarding kovu having decreased appetite and losing weight, how much should a 1 year old cat eat? He used to eat 5 or more ounces wet food and 1/2 cup dry food a day. With his decreased appetite he eats no Dry food and anywhere from no wet food, to 1 and 1/2 ounces twice a day. The most heโs eaten since heโs been losing weight was yesterday and he ate 2 1/2 ounces wet food twice
What can i add to the friskies( dryfood ) to make it balanced?. Good brands coulndt be found in my area.
How many days before a very thin cat can get fatten when he starts to eat cat food?? I feed my cat whiskas dry food and it said i should feed 1/2 cup of dry food for 10 pounds cat. Is that too little???
My cat has inflamed pancreas. We immediately started her on dry Royal Canin gastrointestinal yesterday...but I am not sure she has gone poo yet. I am interested in natural cures. Would it inflame her to give some oil of some kind..maybe some fish oil, or some olive oil? Is Tuna very bad for her? She vomited a lot on Wednesday and became sick. Normally, she loves to eat wet food...I have given many variations but she is only eating dry food now. Why? Is she in pain? She sleeps a lot today?
