Best low-carb wet food for cats?
Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). There's lawsuit (July 2017) against wellness food (arsenic & lead), should I switch to other brand?if so, which one please? Thanks.

I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. My 2 yr old rescue had diarrhea all 4 months he has been with me. He was treated for IBD with metro for 7 days. I also discovered that he is allergic to turkey and fish. I have been feeding him Natural Balance Venison and Green Pea LID wet food. He did well with the metro, and finally had solid and semi solid stools. Natural Balance failed, and added salmon oil to their LID foods! Onyx has greasy fur, flakes and scabs again. Can salmon oil do this? Or am I missing something?
I have a 6 month old male kitten. He's my first male cat. As a way to increase his water intake, I've been adding sardine water, about 2 to 3 tablespoons with each meal. Here's the recipe for sardine water: Add a can of sardines packed in water with no salt to 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Spray to remove sardines from liquid. That's the liquid that I'm adding to his meals. Is this something that's okay to do?
