When fed alone to adults, feed 1 can per 8 lbs of body weight per day, for puppies up to twice this amount and for mothers up to three times this amount. Buddy loves Wellness CORE food -- both dry and canned. He's been eating it for 6 years. He's 12 years old now and the Vet said that he's is in great health for his age. I highly recommend Wellness CORE.

My dog has eaten this food for her whole life. She is now 8 years old. , I have noticed in the last 2 cases I have purchased, the food is not very firm as if it needs to “cook” longer. She also doesn’t seem to like it as well. Just wondering if the recipe has changed, I do not like switching her food around as I do not want to mess up her system,

The first two cases, the cans contents varied: About half the cans were a runny, thick liquid instead of a mostly solid food, and the other half of the cans were normal texture. Max refused the runny food and this became an extremely expensive experiment because half of this purchase ended with food bowls being emptied into the trash. Recent cans seem ALL normal texture, but Max doesn't seem to like it anymore. Will continue the search for another great-ingredient food that he likes. Intend to re-vist this choice later, since it seems to be a quality food. As long as the consistency issue remains solved, I would recommend this food.

I think it’s a great product my dog seems to enjoy it on his dry food. I have a tea cup chihuahua and he loves wellness products.

My dogs also love this brand for their wet food. Are usually try to get the grain free for them just so that they’re not getting any extra carbs. It’s affordable and it’s great food again for your dogs.

Our Wellness ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, our Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively. We feel that we have the appropriate quality programs in place at all our vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients we source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.
