Best low-carb wet food for cats?
After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. About 2-3 pounds. He is getting a tummy. Pics attached. His diet (per day) is free eating Hills Science dry perfect weight chicken, 2 to 2.5 (3oz cans fancy feast, (about 1/2 can at a time when he requests) & occasionally cooked chicken meat. Any suggestions how to loose weight / diet ? Thanks

Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain

Cat food for heart health containing taurine
I am putting my cat on a diet to shed a few pounds (he is around 18lbs right now). I am going to give him "Hill's Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight" canned wet food. My question is, how much of the canned wet food should I give him per day? Half a can in the morning and then the other half in the evening? These are 2.9-oz cans. I want to do what's best for him. Hello, I’ve noticed when cleaning my cats litter box she has maybe only pooped once every 3 days or so and it’s making me worried. She eats 1/3 cup of Wellness grain free dry food and about 1/6 can of wet food daily. She is medium haired and around 9 pounds.

My cat is a male orange short hair and he is at least 15 years old. Hes a rescue so we cant know for sure. I regularly feed him 2 small cans of wet food per day and he has a bowl of dry kibble that I leave out all day. He eats both cans of food and nibbles on kibble throughout the day. He also drinks plenty of water. He keeps losing weight which I think is because of his age. Are there any foods you recommend for a senior cat to gain weight? He is otherwise healthy.
