My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. He does have mostly a beagle body Short legs and long body Other than weight, he is healthy. What type of dog food would he need to lose weight
Best low-carb wet food for cats?
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds. This is according to the Vet. We feed them Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight and Fresh Pet. Dog 1 gets 15 grams of each, Dog 2 gets 40 grams dry and 25 wet. Both are fed 2 time a day. The dogs willnot walk or any type of actual exercise.
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
I recently recused Dolly , she was 5pds when I got her. She was was aggersive, she respond to to love treats an patience. Now she is no longer aggersive. This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
I wanted my male cat to loose weight I changed his diet to Iam's weight controll he was in February 11.8 lbs later 11 lbs later again 9.8 lbs today he is 8.2 he is not interested in canned dry treats he drinks regularly
My 30 dachshund needs to lose 10 lbs. The diet food label reads 306 kcal ME/can. Am I to assume that the entire can of dog food has 306 kcal? Or is there another calculation I need?

My two dogs don't seem to be putting on any weight. We feed them twice a day we tried 3 times but they didn't want food the third time. We have tried a wet/dry dog food mix nothing. We took them to the vet they both have been dewormed. Do you recommend anything type of dog food to help them gain weight
