I've been buying Wellness Beef for my Shih Tzu's for years. This beef "exclusive of water" sounds like a baseball in a can when shaking it. My ShihTzu's will not eat this crap. Why did you stop selling the regular can beef? This crap "exclusive of water" has been around for as long as we've been buying Wellness Beef, so the recipe hasn't changed, the original just isn't being sold any longer for some reason.

This gave my dog severe diarrhea. She pooped over 14 times in the last two days. I had to put her on metronidizole. There were clumps of fat at the top.

Quality has diminished with hard fatty globs

We have been feeding this for the last year and our dogs loved it. We have ordered cases on auto-ship from Chewy. However, as seen in other reviews over the last months, the consistency went from mostly meat, to a disgusting amount of hard, white fatty globs throughout the food. Hard to believe “it was a variation in how it was cooked” as one response from Wellness stated. We have stopped ordering it and I am searching for a new product without all the fat. I have grave concerns about heart health.

French Bulldog can have poultry meat allergies

My 12 month old French Bulldog has had blood in her stools for several months and repeated fecal exams come up negative for girardia. I recently joined a Facebook group and someone posted the same happening to their French Bulldogs and a comment said this breed often has allergies to poultry. All this time I have been baking chicken breast and dicing it up for my 4 French Bulldogs. Only the one had the blood/occasional diarrhea. The day I switched to 95% beef Core she has had perfect bowel movements and no trace of blood or diarrhea.
