Wellness is labeled as grain free but under specifications it says grain free - no
- There are two chicken recipes that look very similar. One grain free and the other not. Personally, I think a dog needs a little grain and our golden seems to better with.

Is it ok to feed this particular food to a 4 month old puppy? I have an extra bag and I'd like to donate it to a friend who has a young pup.

Where is the product manufactured? Are all ingredients sourced from the US?
- Thank you for your question. We have our own dry goods manufacturing facility located in Mishawaka, Indiana. As for ingredients they are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. While there are many high quality ingredients available in the U.S., in some cases there is not a readily available U.S. supply. For example, our Venison, Lamb, Rabbit and Salmon Meal are sourced internationally from New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Chile respectively. We feel that we have the appropriate quality programs in place at all our vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients we source, whether they are sourced locally or globally. What is the difference between Wellness Complete health for adult small breeds and Wellness Complete health for adult dogs?
- I'm not an expert on Wellness Complete. But it has been my experience that when a brand offers the same food for adult small breed and also adult dogs, the only difference would be that the adult small breed food comes in smaller chunks.

Feeding Wellness 5 to my puppy
- If the food says "all life stages" you are fine. All life stages has been tested and formulated for puppies, pregnant and latacting, seniors, as well as a maintenance adult food.

what is calorie count on Wellness and what is calorie count on Bluedog food
- I also have tried everything for skin allergies, and the fish oil in the Shed-X is at least palatable to them. The old methods of dunking their feet in clean water after exposure to grass helps. This Wellness Core Ocean formula also helps because they actually love it better than most of the other grain free foods.

- If you choose another flavor of the same brand and type of dog food, the answer is no. If it is another type of food from same brand, or totally different brand, then the answer is yes.
