Ingredients I can understand! My dog loves this food! He begs for it every meal, I was frustrated with other brands who didn’t even have meat as the number one ingredient - at least I can understand 90% of these.

Dog likes food, but has formula changed?

My almost 7 year old standard poodle had been eating Wellness Complete Health Dry Food for a couple years and really enjoying it, but when she was diagnosed with mild arthritis a few months ago I switched her to large breed because it says that it is formulated for joint health. The first two bags were great and I like that the pieces of kibble were larger. But the third bag I bought had kibble pieces the size of the other food - much smaller. I thought that maybe this was a one-off but the second time I got this same food the kibble size was smaller, not the larger size it was originally when I got the food. My dog still loves the taste of it and I know it's healthy, but I'm not sure if the formula changed, the kibble size changed or I'm just getting the wrong food in the large breed formula packaging. I noticed that, absent any medical condition, she seems less lively than she was on the large breed formula that was definilty the correct one. I like the bigger pieces because she had to chew her food more and eat it more slowly and I knew that the formula was correct. But now, I have no idea what formula she is eating. I wish it were made public if the formula was changed, otherwise I had 2 bags in a row that had the wrong food.

Petco has made shopping for my pets as simple, easy & effortless as possible. Place the order before 2 p.m. & I find it placed on my front porch when I arrive home from work. If there is a problem with stock, you are notified before placing the order. Seriously how much easier could it be.

My dog could not eat this because it gave him severe diarrhea. As soon as I switched foods it stopped. I only gave him 6 feedings from the bag so this was a waste of money.

My dog is a 52 pound Shar-Pei beagle mix. He’s not a small dog nor a really big dog so I’m not sure what size to buy for him

    Hello, we recommend a large breed recipe for dogs over 50 pounds. Since your dog is 52 pounds you could go either way. Our large breed recipes will have a larger size kibble.
