Wellness stews reco feeding for a 32 lb dog would be 4 or more cans of stew a day. Isn’t that a lot of food???
- I think that is. I top my dogs Wellness dry food with Wellness wet food. I have a 73 lb. Pitbull. She gets fed 1 cup dry with about 2 spoonfuls of wet. I feed her in the morning and evening. And she gets 2 snacks a day. She's 12 years and acts like a puppy. I absolutely love all Wellness pet food. I have all my pets eating this line of food. Hope that helps.

Eats core wellness grain free ocean formula because of unknown allergy (licks her paws all the time). Finished a 26 lbs bag already but zero difference. Also taking vetriscience derma strength for few months now. Prefer supplements (chews) that med (Benadryl). Our 3-year old basset/lab/terrier mix has been struggling with loose stools - not diarrhea but loose. We were giving him Wellness brand complete health chicken, but since the issues started we've been doing cooked chicken, rice, and pumpkin. We'd like to get him back on kibble but I have no idea what direction we should go i.e. ingredients to look for/avoid. Any advice? All my googling indicates it's very idiosyncratic and trial-and-error, but this seems so inefficient and not good for our pup.

Is it normal for a dog to poop ~4 times per day? I feed him 4 oz Wellness Core grain-free canned food twice a day, so it isn't cheap food. Per vet he needs to gain weight (he was a stray and VERY skinny) so I wonder if maybe it's because of the extra food? His poops are small, dark, and firm.

What is the best food to feed a 55-pound highly active hound? I was told to switch to grain free, but her stool has been mucous like and runny. How much dog food i give to my dog
9 1/2 month old dog, loose stool for over 2 weeks. Fecal sample negative. Did 10 days of Metronidozole plus only chicken and rice. No improvement. Course of panacur, then switched for boiled beef and rice. Perfect poop for 3 days. Introduced 1/4 cup kibble and went right back to mush then mushy/liquidy. Could it be the brand of food (the 1/4 cup introduced was beef, grain free Merrick, since hedid well on the boiled beef. Vet is not helping. Any Suggestions?
