Best low-carb wet food for cats?
Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!
My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.

I uaed to give fancy feast to my cat but I heard it's not actually very healthy, so what are som good and not too expensive wet food brands?
I have been feeding my cat tuna and salmon along with dry food. Is that healthier for him than wet food?
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? My cats aren’t eating their wellness dry food but love the wellness canned food. Is it okay if I switch to blue wilderness dry food and keep wellness canned food? They seem to be eating it that way but is it safe?
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
