This is a very well built and effective tool for grooming dogs with longer fur. The wood is strong and smooth and the tines are not overly sharp. I would recommend this dog rake for anyone that owns a dog which is prone to tangles.

The rake is comfortable in the hand yet some of the tines are loose. The rounded tips make it comfy for the dog and it is easy to clean out. And the sturdy wood handle helps to keep good balance when grooming.

Of my three furbabies, Coco is the least happy with her grooming needs. Since she is a mini poodle, her hair grows pretty curly. Please note that this dog rake does not puff her hair up; however, this perfectly grooved grooming tool delivers happiness during brushing time and deters tangles simultaneously! Coco's tail was wagging, and it stayed up the entire time! Finally, an excellent solution to doggie pampering time that meets the needs of all my furbabies! The dog rake also does wonderfully on my Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise's fur coat.

the bursh works great with no issues. Removes the undercoat of both my huskies with ease. didnt feel any hair pull when i tried it. Brush is very light but looks durable. I just wish the brush would be a little bigger.

My dog was scared of the brush at first but he does let me brush him now. It’s very light weight and not that big. It’s great to reach tight areas. It does get the shedding of my dogs hair but I feel like it doesn’t grab enough.

I know this is technically for dogs but it works wonders for my cat. She has a double coat and this really works at getting the shedding out under her top layer. She really enjoys being brushed and this one doesn’t pull her coat at all.

I chose this comb for my long haired cats and they will actually let me comb them with this comb. Our old comb would throw a lot of fluff into the air and this comb hardly does. The cats are happy and I’m happy so it’s a buy.

My dog has a long, thick, heavy coat and this does quite well. He seemed to enjoy it. The brush rolls through the coat smoothly, and gently removes hair. It doesn't seem to pull or cause any discomfort when brushing. The rake seems very sturdy and well made. The one thing I do not care for is the shape of the handle. It fits a bit awkwardly in my hand. I do love the look of it though. Overall, it seems like a great brush that gets the job done!
