Completely Liquid??

I used this toothpaste with my dog and it was great. but when I ran out and bought another bottle it seems the toothpaste in this new bottle is completely liquid. Before I can even close the cap to the toothpaste it's dripping off of the brush? This didn't happen with the last bottle, it was more like a paste. really frustrating cause it takes a second for my dog to sniff it and open his mouth.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It works to remove the tartar and plaque

The vet said our 7 year old beagle would need to eventually get their teeth cleaned because of tartar buildup which would cost at least $500. I have been brushing the outside of his teeth once or twice a day for a month and the black stuff is gone. I can't believe how well this stuff works. The dog doesn't like it but doesn't hate it either. It takes me 15 seconds to do it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dog loves having her teeth brushed 2-3 times a day! But she refused this toothpaste—-back it goes to Petco!

My dog prefers a different brand of chicken flavored toothpaste…he was pretty emphatic. I am so glad this wasn’t our first try or we would’ve thought he didn’t like having his teeth brushed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My dog was uninterested, so I gave the toothpaste a sniff. Doesn't smell like chicken. I tried a little bit of the toothpaste - bitter flavor, maybe minty? Not chicken flavored at all. I am returning it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Our dog loves fresh cooked chicken breast and PureBites freeze dried chicken breasts. Sadly he can smell the chicken flavored tooth paste from a foot away and refuses to let it get near his mouth or nose.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Very good tooth paste for our dogs. Keeps the teeth clean and limits the tarter. Dogs hate the taste of the toothpaste but it definitely works and helps to protect their teeth and gums.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this dog toothpaste Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) approved? Is it enzymatic? I have been using this product for a while; vet indicates additional brushing needed with VOHC approved toothpaste.

  1. My dog was hesitant at first, but only because she didn't like people sticking anything in her mouth. I let her sniff the paste and taste a bit. She liked it and slowly but surely allowed me to brush her teeth.

What are the ingredients?  I need to compare to Doctors Foster and Smith Tartar control that YOU no longer sell.

  1. CHINA PRODUCT

Is this toothpaste supposed to be clear? The last toothpaste we had you could see it on the brush, but this toothpaste is clear and hard to see.

    1. Hi Dusty Rose, Here is the response from the factory. The product will range slightly in translucency but product goes through rigorous testing and must pass QC before it ships. It is perfectly safe. Thanks,

The ingredients scan you posted is unreadable. Can you simply provide a list of ingredients for review?

    1. Hi Bruce00, The ingredient list was sent via your email address. Thanks,

Can I use this on my kitten?

    1. Hi ShadowsDaddy, This is intended for dog use only. Thanks

What are the ingredients in the chicken flavored toothpaste?

    1. Hi ncteacher, Please see attachment. Thanks

    where is this toothpaste made?

    1. Hi al c 43, This product is made in the USA. Thanks,

Are you replacing Dr. Foster & Smith tarter control toothpaste with the Well & Good brand?

    1. I'm disappointed too. Wondering if this is a (poor) corporate decision by Petco? The Well & Good brand doesn't list the ingredients and doesn't say it is enzymatic. So I would conclude it isn't comparable to the discontinued F&S brand. Look at the Arm and Hammer or C.E.T brands. They're both enzymatic.
