Is there an ear protector for a dog that has had ear surgery besides an e-collar. If not, are there e-collars that fasten with velcro instead of the plastic slots which are very difficult to fasten.?
Do you think my dogs stitches are healing well from being spayed she wears the cone since she left the vets
My pekingnese has severe allergies. Is it ok to wear his inflatable collar indefinitely it's the only thing that stops him from chewing & scratching.
7mo old husky neutered Thursday. Popped his glue open Saturday afternoon. Cleaned with sterile saline, a teeny bit of antibiotic ointment applied, reglued, and put a diaper on him overnight (done ourselves). Trying to keep him inactive is difficult. He's eating/drinking, and in good spirits/just wants to play. Wearing cone, but keeps bumping his incision trying to get to it. A bit of clear discharge tinged slightly pink, but no pus. Still pretty swollen, but I expect it after yesterday. Look ok?
Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
My 7 month old puppy is 4 days post op for a blockage. He is recovering slowly and the incision looks good, but he seems to be suffering more at night. Can we add benedryl to his medications? He is taking Rimadyl, Gabapentin and Carenia. He is eating and drinking well.
my dog has a large purple bruse like lump on his belly thats gets better
My dog had surgery on Thursday to remove a mass from her neck, Saturday i noticed some swelling (felt like fluid) we got it checked by the vets & they confirmed it was seroma. I have been told to do warm & cold compresses & she can go on light walks as helps blood flow but i have read online to limit movement? What is best?? I have added a picture, btw she has a bandage & jumper to stop her scratching as she has already caught the stitches this is cleaned & changed twice a day.
My dog neack was swollen so what is the treatment can get a proper help
My 9 month American Bulldog at 90 lbs has hyagroma on both elbows. What is the best route to take? I bought a brace but he wont keep it on when Im not at home. I heard surgery is expensive and just as frustrating
