Cat was able to not only get out of it but broke the collar loops on the first wear. Waste of money.

Best recovery collar becasue it doesn't deflate. 100% better than a cone.

It worked great for my dog, I hope people realize that you have to put the dog collar through the small hooks inside the collar. Once you do that, this thing does not come off! Maybe people weren’t doing that.

It was the only donut-style recovery collar available at my local Petco and I needed one on short notice, so I got this. It's fine and does the job, e.g. to prevent a dog from licking spay/neuter stitches. But I wish it were machine washable like the inflatable types. You can wipe it clean since the fabric is nylon with at least a little water resistance, but after a while dirt and grime show and there isn't a great way to clean it out.

I bought this for my dog after his surgery to prevent him from messing with his staples. Not only was he able to reach his incision, he ate all of his staples, and I came home to his open wound. I ended up spending the evening at the emergency veterinarian, $1,000 out. The manufacturers of this product are negligent, and this should not be on the market

I bought today to keep my dog from picking rear end. She had no problem picking and biting the rear. So, even though it's probably great for some uses, not my application. I'll be returning it tomorrow. So, so wanted it to work.

The collar itself is soft inside and made of some type of vinyl material which wipes off well. However the velcro closure strap is very stiff with sharp hard corners. The collar will stop them from worrying a body wound but they can still reach their legs. They can eat & drink while wearing it. I'm taking mine back because I can get the same results from pinning a cloth around his neck.

Not well made. This did prevent my dog from licking anywhere. Including his rear end. Not worth spending money on.
