I bought this because it looked comfortable; however, it doesn't prevent our dog from chewing on her hind paws, the reason we bought it. It will only protect the immediate area around it.

Doesn't do anything if you have a bigger dog. He could easily get it

I bought this in store, the packaging is not well thought-through. it comes in a vacuum sealed bag that takes away a lot of the fluff. the xxxs (kitten sized) in store comes loose and has more fluff to it. this collar did not prevent my 9month old male cat from licking his neuter incision site. the collar also has a little attachment inside to put your own collar attached too. DO NOT USE. my cat almost strangled himself trying to take off the donut and the donut came off but not his collar so the donut was behind his head completely with the collar tightened around his neck. (the same supposed break-away petco collar as well of all things thats suppose to prevent cats from choking or hanging accidentally) not only is petcos products over-priced but the builds are cheap and the products do not do as claimed. i will never use petco again quite frankly, I am a forgeiner and assumed this would be a good store but my experience now with this donut collar strangling my cat and the breakaway collar that DID NOT breakaway i will never buy here again. Untrustworthy and really sad because they even have actually pets for sale in the store too so its not some random supermarket but suppose to specialize in animals! I'm so sad I cannot just find decent products in America!

We purchased the collar for our boy Jack after he was nurtured. It worked great and we are very pleased with our results.

The flaw is in the material/workmanship! It split along the seam where the strap us attached to the fabric and continued . A durable ' heavier material and double stitching would make this product worthy of 5☆.
