Easily ripped at the seam. Single stitching, cheap thin material. Lasted 5 seconds.

My dog absolutely loves this recovery collar. Much more comfortable than the large plastic dome provided by our vet. Sleeps comfortably with it too. Much easier for him to walk around the house and go up & down the stairs. He is 50 lbs, bought him a medium/large. Great product!

Yes, I recommend this product.

at first it kept coming off and then when I realized you could add his collar to the inside it stays on better now it’s better than the cones that they give you at the vets not a bad thing cause i was worried it wasn’t going to stay on

His injury was at his ear and chin and he could still get to them to scratch. He's an Austrian Shepherd. Had one for a Bassett Hound and it worked great.

Purchased the correct size for my dog after getting neutered. The first day he chewed through the material. Disappointed after paying more for it than the standard collar.

Recovery Collar Beats The Horrible Cones !!!

Debbie

This was a life-saver for us !!! There is no way we could have survived a two-week recuperation with a huge lampshade for our 60 lb. dog. She loved the recovery collar and we laughed as it reminded us of the airplane pillows humans purchase for long airline trips.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Doesn’t work. My dog can still easily get to the area we’re trying to avoid on the top of his back leg.

My dog was able to lick her back leg where her surgery had been done. I thought the collar was suppose to prevent this.

  1. Hi, Some recovery collars, particularly the soft-filled donut style, may not provide enough coverage to prevent a determined dog from reaching certain areas, like the back legs. For more comprehensive coverage, a traditional plastic cone, a recovery suit, or a leg sleeve could be more suitable alternatives. Our team can help you find a better option for your dog's recovery.  Thanks.

Will this stop a dog from licking its front paw?

  1. Hi, Yes, but its effectiveness depends heavily on the size and flexibility of your dog. The Well & Good Soft-Filled Recovery Collar is a donut-style collar, which restricts a dog's head movement to prevent them from licking injuries. However, determined or flexible dogs may still be able to reach their front paws. Thanks, Petco Support.

Is it safe to wear at night and won't hurt the dog's neck?

  1. Yes! Our 14 year old Boston Terrier was extremely comfortable with this collar. Wore it without any issue.

Can collar be kept on dog continuously for entire recovery period after spaying?

  1. Hi Petmom, Good day! The specific wearing time should be determined based on the veterinarian's advice and the pet's recovery condition. I would recommend that you reach out to your vet for best practices regarding the length of time a collar should be worn. Thanks,

Is this cone effective for stopping my pittbull from scratching her ears? She constantly scratches until she bleeds.

  1. Hi Valued Guest, Good day! We suggest that you use the usual cone, not this inflatable one. Thanks

Will the soft collar keep a medium size dog from eating/sniffing toxic stuff on the sidewalk.

  1. Hi lee48, Good day! No, this is not recommended for that purpose. Thanks
