Do you think my dogs stitches are healing well from being spayed she wears the cone since she left the vets
Good morning the scab that my dog have is getting smaller, that means it’s healing.
Hi. My dad's dog is about 60 pounds. Him and the other dogs got into some his carprofen. He wasn't acting well but my dad's vet suggested to induce vomiting. It seems to be helping him since he is eating and drinking and moving around now. Is there anything I could suggest to help even more?
My boy just had surgery to get rid of a lump. He is very itchy. Is there anything i can do to help him not be so itchy and trying to get out his stiches. He has a doggy jacket on.
7mo old husky neutered Thursday. Popped his glue open Saturday afternoon. Cleaned with sterile saline, a teeny bit of antibiotic ointment applied, reglued, and put a diaper on him overnight (done ourselves). Trying to keep him inactive is difficult. He's eating/drinking, and in good spirits/just wants to play. Wearing cone, but keeps bumping his incision trying to get to it. A bit of clear discharge tinged slightly pink, but no pus. Still pretty swollen, but I expect it after yesterday. Look ok?
My 7 month old puppy is 4 days post op for a blockage. He is recovering slowly and the incision looks good, but he seems to be suffering more at night. Can we add benedryl to his medications? He is taking Rimadyl, Gabapentin and Carenia. He is eating and drinking well.
Dog has hd morphine and loxicam injection initially okay now panting and moaning back legs very weak seems confused and agitatd
My dog is weak how to improve
doxie has been bit by a spider. Vet put him on antibiotic pills week ago Monday The golfball size lump burst on Saturday morning. The lump has been draining since then. A clear liquid with blood tinge. Also has weeping out his eye. Monday a PetCoach vet reassured us it would be a long recovery. Wound is smaller but he has thrown up everything he has eaten today. Vet cant see until 4 tomorrow. He has been drinking water and been outside twice. Breathing is a tiny rapid. Unsure if ER is needed.
Had a check up with Ultra sound on his tummy to confirm his status after removing part of his liver due cancer. Seems going well so far, except a small hernia projected. Vet said it should be ok if remain no enlarge. Just to get a second opinion
I recently recused Dolly , she was 5pds when I got her. She was was aggersive, she respond to to love treats an patience. Now she is no longer aggersive. She eats a 1/2cup dry Wellness Sr. Weight management an a tablespoon of were food. She is on faloxadine 10 mil ,teeth cleaning treat , an glucosamine treat , treat whole chicken one a day each .she is latregic .but we walk every day. Is she ok all shots up to date.
Pet had skin die off, back rt foot (after severe abscess in back rt hip threatened amputate) Vet removed dead, new skin growth underneath. This left atleast 50% of exposed flesh, the other has new skin growth. Antibiocs & cleaning w/chlorhexidine 2xs a day.(metacam 1x day for 2 day.)With cleaning and limited mobility still seems impossible to keep clean, constantly finding dirt/debris, misc stuck to raw skin. Is there a safe way to cover wound while also letting it breathe for healing purposes?
