My dog hated the PB flavored toothpaste

The toothpaste smells nothing like peanut butter, so I doubt it tastes like peanut butter. I put some on my finger to let my dog lick it and he tried it, then immediately backed away. I tried again and he literally walked away. My pooch loves food, almost any kind of food, but this is the only time that I've seen him offended by an edible product. I'd suggest buying the toothbrushes separately and trying another brand of toothpaste. My vet suggested C.E.T, so we're trying that next.

Today I bought my fur babies the Peanut Butter flavor toothpaste and they disliked it! They literaly ran away after smelling the toothpaste:/ By the way out of curiosity before I gave some to my babies I tried just a little dot of the toothpaste to see if it actually tasted like peanut butter... IT DOESN'T! It's suuper bitter.
