I took our newly adopted 3yr+ Alaskan Malamute/Husky to Petco for grooming. It seems this was the 1st time he was ever groomed. He was matted and it took over 4 hrs. to remove the matting. Damiem our groomer recommended this rake for Oliver's rear legs, thighs and between his ears. It really works and we also use it on our Alaskan Husky too.

I was having our recently adopted 3.5 year old Alaskan Malamute/Husky groomed.In the past our Alaskan Husky was groomed at Petco and Damien our groomer recommended that brush for all dogs that have 2 coats. It turned out that he was never groomed before and it took 4 hrs to dematted him.

I bought this a month ago and I am so happy I did. My dog loves it and I love that I am able to get rid of a lot of hair that would normally be on the floor and our clothes!

This is a very nice comb/brush. Definitely for long hair breeds. The handle is a nice size and the grip is comfortable. Would work well for a large dog that would take a long time to cover whole dog. A little too big for my small breed Yorkie but overall a nice item.

I received the Well & Good Metal Prostyle Comb for dogs and I can not say what a great comb it is! I have three large, hairy dogs, and coming out of winter, I am very grateful to have this comb. There is a little “give” with the tines, two rows of them, and this seems to work much better for my dogs. They do have coats that get tangled. I would mainly use a slicker type brush or pin type, this will now be my first choice and follow up with a bristle type brush. My pack is pretty well behaved at being brushed, with the occasional show of too much being pulled on their coats when I’ve used other combs. Well & Good’s comb does not cause any negative response at all. It gets through the guard hair and to the undercoat really well. I used this for 20 minutes on each dog, giving them a break, going on to the next. In doing this, it was in use for a good hour without any hand fatigue. Its shape/handle are well made, sturdy yet comfortable to hold. This did not happen with any other brushes or combs. It is well made, substantial and ergonomic in design. I highly recommend this comb for the hairy, heavy undercoated, dogs. Especially when they are “blowing” their coats.

The brush worked great for my mini Australian Shepherd. She really enjoyed it and helped to remove a lot of her lose hair. My other dog enjoyed it as well even though she doesn’t have a lot of hair. Worked great to take mats out.

These are two of my American Indian Dogs. I received this product from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. My dogs have a thick undercoat which needs a good combing from time to time. I received this Well & Good Prostyle Double-Pin Grooming Rake to try out on my dogs. This rake is a nice and sturdy tool which gets down deep in the coat of my dogs to remove the dead hair from their coats while leaving the top coat look healthy. Love this one compared to the ones I bought before. Easy to use on my husky and cats. Easy to clean the hair off the brush and doesn’t snag on my dogs hair like the one I have before. Thanks for the free product!
