DO NOT USE NEAR FACE! We just came back from the ER VET because my dog turned her head when I was brushing by her face and it caught the waterline of her eye and tore it open. She will heal, and thank God it didn’t hit her eye. I’ve used this brush for a few years and it works great for getting tangles out. But do not use it near the face. Learn from my mistake it can be very dangerous

This rake is awesome for my german shepherd but small. We have another one that is longer and similar. I like that it gets past the top coat and really helps to de-shed. I took off a star because the length of the tool makes this process really time consuming. Our dog loves it though. I thought it'd hurt because it pulls a bit when there are knots but I suppose it feels like massage.

Bought this yesterday and this is the best product for brushing my Rotties hair I’ve ever purchased.

I have a smooth coat border collie and a castle dog mix. They both shed an iceman amount and i was trying to find something that helped. I was skeptical whether this would work with their shorter hair, but it worked amazingly!! The two sides of the brush were extremely helpful. I stayed with the lesser numbers and worked up to the greater number of teeth. I got a ton of hair off of the dogs. It worked so well i decided to try it on my elderly cat who is prone to matting. It worked very well and was gentle that she tolerated it much longer than any other brush i have tried on her. Would highly recommend!!

This is absolutely the BEST pet brush ever!! We have 4 cats and a lab/husky mix doggie so pet hair in our house is no stranger. After using this brush on our doggie she looked so slim! We had no idea how much weight her undercoat added to her. The pictures don't do justice for the amount of hair we brushed off our black doggie and our grey/white kitties.

This is a fantastic deshedding tool. Works above and beyond all of my expectations. I was worried that it may be too sharp but my Lab seemed to enjoy it. I would be very gentle with the tool as I feel if you pushed to hard it would bother them.

I tried this shedding rake on 3 of my dogs. The first dog was my German shepherd mix. The 9 tooth side worked well in thinning his hair since it is quite thick even after a bath and blow out. The next I tried it on was my poodle cocker spaniel mix. He gets pretty tight curls and his tail can get matted from rolling in the grass. I started with the 9 tooth side to work out a tangle and it didn’t really work well with his hair type. It seemed to get stuck a little. The final dog I used this on was my westie mix. His hair is pretty thin but if I don’t brush him every day he does get mats and doesn’t like me brushing them out. He tolerated this take more than most I have tried and I was able to get a mat out easily. I think for this to work well it depends on the type of hair you are using it on. I do like the handle. It makes it easy to use. The two sides with different teeth for different situations make it nice not having to have multiple tools.
