Most flea combs seem to have a hard time making all the teeth through hair to make the user feel like it is a thorough job. This flea comb did really well getting through the fur for a small sized dog. I was even able to try this on a kitten and adult cat!. Although my dog did not have fleas, this comb did seem to go through fur well. The handle is also very durable. I did give 4 stars out of 5 because i felt the teeth did not seem to go through a finer fur texture very well.

I really enjoyed using this brush. My cats are mainly indoor so I dont have much of an issue with fleas, but the comb did great in removing shedded fur from my kitties. It also managed to catch some dirt and such that was stuck in their fur so it was really nice.

This dual-row flea comb is no flimsy item! It feels good and solid in the hand. The dual row distributes the pressure between them which has a nice massaging effect on the animal, and reduces the possibility of pain if applying too much pressure. I even use it on my cat who loves it! The narrow spacing of the teeth is perfect to catch parasites while giving a comb job to the animal.

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” I received the Well & Good Prostyle Dual-Row Flea Comb for Dogs even though I have cats. I do not use it for the purpose of fleas, I use it to comb them, it helps with shedding and they love it. It does not pull their hair like some others I have used.

I like the handle and size of this but the double comb makes it kind of difficult to use how you would use a traditional flea comb. I can see here it may be better for long and thick hair but short hair not so much.
