I bought this item years ago. I absolutely love it. My cat if really fluffy, but also has fur of quite a few different lengths mixed together. The metal tooth ones snag her super long hairs, and I can tell it is uncomfortable when that happens. This plastic tip version has been amazing. It gets the loose hairs off, but doesn't rip out her longer ones in the process. The metal ones will also snag whiskers if used around the face. My fluffball always wants her cheeks brushed, so having an option that doesn't do that is necessary. I've been struggling to find another bc I didn't remember where I go this before, so I'm so happy to have found this. My brush is still working wonderfully. I haven't even needed to use the replacement teeth it came with. I'm only looking for another bc my partner recently got a persian and I think this would be a game changer for her.

This cat brush DOES NOT remove more than 2-3 strands of hair when you brush. I agree with another review, I am able to get much more hair from my cat with my hand petting her. I WOULD NOT recommend this product at all

Barely removed hair off of my cats. I removed more hair just from petting them. It just passes over any tangles and does not remove them. Tried it with all settings and did nothing. It is just trash and waste of money.
