Hey, We recently purchased Sergeant Oatmeal puppy flea shampoo. I followed the guidelines on the bottle and rinsed the shampoo off. My dog started acting a bit weird, rubbing head into our pillows etc. I googled the brand and came across a lot of bad reviews saying their pets had problems after using this brand. He seems to be acting normal now but I thought Id ask just encase
What other than oatmeal shampoo is good for itching puppy's?
I use nature's miracle eucalyptus spearmint shampoo for my GSD Some how they discontinued this shampoo. which one you recommend please note he hates sweet smell?
I use nature's miracle eucalyptus spearmint shampoo for my GSD due to the area i live where tick and flee are very much normal. Some how they discontinued this shampoo. which one you recommend please note he hates sweet smell?
I planned on getting an oatmeal and aloe shampoo for Precious. Would that be good or is there a better shampoo I can get for her breed?
1 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant oats) sprigs of rosemary 1/3 cup baking soda I saw this recipe online for making dog shampoo. Will a shampoo made from these ingredients be effective against ticks and fleas? Also is there anything else we can use to make it effective against tick and fleas? And can rosemary be replaced by something else like coconut oil?
Is there a good natural way to help with dog dandruff?

Mayor has a very sensitive skin and smelly fur. Tried many shampoo to fit him. His first good shampoo is good enough but I want to change to organic. The organic one makes his skin flaky and fur dry so I stopped it. I wanted to get rid of the dry skin and the smelly fur. Are there any suggestions I can do a home remedy to these? Also, do you have a shampoo you can recommend either from US or somewhere for Mayor?
Can I dilute my dogs shampoo into a spray before I brush her?
Dr. Hinson, what about the brand Oxyfresh or brushless toothpaste? Either of those any good? Btw, I ordered some Allivet stuff you showed me it’s supposed to arrive today. Both my bubba and Mia have really bad dander. If I brush them, it comes out in handfuls.
I'm trying to find a good shampoo for my dog. I would like to make my own if possible. My dog itches alot. He has a wirery coat. His hair is like Toto from the Wizard of Oz. I saw a recipe of oatmeal, baking soda and water. Would that be safe for my dog? I was not sure about this recipe, because someone had said baking soda can cause kidney issues in dogs. Is that true? Any suggestions on any other homemade shampoos?
