Effective Product

Good File

This product works well to file nails down. I used for my rabbit and it was effective. I prefer to file because it doesn’t scare my rabbit as much as putting her nail inside a clipper. Very nice product.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Course and More Course :-(

Wanted these for softening up the edges of our pup's nails after clipping them. Both sides feel course in that significant pressure is required to get the file to engage. Pup's not really a fan, and neither am I. A true 'fine' file side would have made these much more usable.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I don't care for it much..I would highly recommend just getting their nails cut..the file helps a little bit not much as needed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I needed an inexpensive nail file because my puppy's nails were sharp and this worked in a pinch!

A handy tool

Keeping up with my dog's nail care is a constant task. I like this file because it's tough enough to hold up to the constant use. The file actually has two sides with different levels of "grit". I'm also a fan of the ergonomic handle. My dog may not think pedicures are fun, but at least I can do a good job with this tool.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Could be helpful with a tolerant cat

This isn't a heavy duty nail file. I had thought it would be more of a rasp for a bigger dog's nails but the ridges probably wouldn't even work on a small dog of the best temperment. It's better suited for a cat perhaps if you're trying to file down sharp nail tips.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great for Big Dogs!

Our big dogs hate getting their nails dremeled so we have to file them down after each cut. We previously used emory boards but would go through them so quickly! This is nice and large enough to get through just about any dogs nails and they enjoy getting pampered during the process. Highly recommend!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Got this for my whoodle and pomsky. Neither dog was scared of it and let me file their nails. Not an expert when it comes to filing their nails, but this is a very user friendly and handy item to have.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Does the file part come out of the handle? How many files are included? or replacement packets? One wouldn't last long, I think. Thanks.
