Really like this shampoo! My dog has sensitive skin and this didn’t upset his skin at all! It lathered well and didn’t have a strong smell which I liked. Time will tell if it helps his itchy skin, but I’m already really happy with it since it didn’t upset his skin anymore.

Likes: easy to dispense, lathers well, provides itch relief (could not verify), leaves fur looking clean and glossy. Didn't love: Viscosity (seemed a little watered down), lack of scent (only because my dog gets "fragrant") which is not a negative but makes it less attractive to us. Comments: tried this because my dog gets itchy. Still observing him to see whether or not the itching decreased after using the shampoo. Understandable that an itch relief shampoo has no scent, because some scent ingredients may exacerbate itching. We prefer a scented dog though we know our definition of a pleasing scent differs from the scents he likes to roll in.

Good shampoo, not overly perfume scented and I also like that all the ingredients inside seemed good, I don’t think it particularly Help with my dogs itching but his coat looked very shiny and flowy..

I used this shampoo in my four dogs, it did help with their itching for few days, and doesn’t leave your dog smelling like “wet dog” what I notice is that my dogs coat was dry next day, was dry and it felt different was not soft. I did not tried the conditioner if there is one for this product. I would recommend for the itching, but buy a conditioner too, so your dogs coat doesn’t dry feels different.

I have 3 dogs. One has short and very thick fur. A Carolina Dog mix. Next, is my staffy mix with fine, smooth fur. These two dogs get itchy. My third is pittie mix with very fine fur. No itching with that one. The shampoo is fragrance free for those of us that are sensitive. The shampoo lathered well and was able to wash the dirt away in one go. And my yard practically consists of only dirt. No repeating here. Once dried the pups smell was neutral. The coats were clean and shiny, however I would of liked a softer feel and that the softness lasted longer. The product did quell some of the mild itchiness. It is competitive price. And it is only safe for Dogs.

This is a pretty good shampoo, but the reason I took off a star is that nowhere does it say if it's safe to use with topical flea/tick treatments! I waited and used it the day before my dog's next dose to be safe. I didn't realize it was unscented which is not my favorite, but that's my fault for not reading the details more clearly. I used it with my dog's regular Zymox conditioner that leaves her with a light, fresh scent, and her short coat is soft and smooth. It has a more gelatinous texture than Zymox or Pet Head, similar to Tropiclean where if you stop squeezing the bottle too soon, it'll suck the shampoo back in. It lathers better than either Zymox or Tropiclean though, and rinses easily. My white pittie mix is allergic to tons of stuff and this didn't cause any adverse reaction. It may help with itching but it's difficult to tell after just one use. The Zymox shampoo+conditioner worked miracles when she was having a horrible reaction and itching herself raw so I'll probably keep this as a backup if I need to do a quick scrub-down when she's upstairs. I was using Pet Head Life's an Itch, but they discontinued that variety so this will make a decent replacement.
