Just got home from buying these. I didn't even get one of my dogs nails cut and they busted. These are so cheaply made, save your money. ALSO, I was charged the full price when it shows they're on sale.

I bought this about a week ago and so far they held up good, although it is definitely cheap material. These work much better on cats then dogs.

Before it broke, because part of the lever is plastic, it would flex as you applied pressure. Instead of a smooth cut, it would build up pressure and then the blade would suddenly snap through the nail. This is not what you want. Then, after about 8 uses, the plastic broke. No surprises. Just junk.

I have a medium-sized Staffie mix with dark, large dog nails. The clippers snapped at the handle, just under the cutting attachment, on her very first nail. Very poorly constructed and a shameful waste of plastic going into the landfill.

I took the dog nail clipper and it broke on the first nail. I’m through with the company.

I definitely would’ve given this product for stars or possibly five if the product Made from sturdier material, however, it does seem that it is just plastic, definitely not like a super cheap plastic, That’s gonna break right away, but not as sturdy as I’ve seen other products. The product itself is a good design and I believe it will last me approximately a year or two and it definitely does work well. My only thing is that I wish it was more sturdy. This was a necessary by when this company was the only place close to me, so it will get used.

I bought it to trim my 80lb dogs nails and it barely fit over the nail! Then when I tried to even get a little off the rip the blade BENT instead of cutting. Absolute trash

Worked like a charm, trimmed dew claw on our Lab with no effort.
