I purchased this nail trimmer because it was literally the only option I had at my local Petco. In a word, it’s awful. It’s way too large to be marketed as a cat nail trimmer. The head is it makes it very difficult to see tiny cat nails. The cut of the guillotine is jarring for the cats and I was met with a lot of resistance. I’ve cut their nails before with the scissor type clippers with no problem. I will be returning these as I find them relatively useless.

Initially I was going to buy my Well & Good Guillotine clippers online but then I went to Petco to grab my dogs food and saw that they sold the same exact clippers there in the store and was price was the same as on my app. That never happens to me and no waiting!! I was a little nervous as this would be the first time trimming my little dogs nails but the clippers felt sturdy and they seemed well made, plus they were comfortable in my hand o I was able to get a solid hold. By the way, the clippers are called W & G Guillotine Cat Nail Clippers but the friend who introduced these clippers to me uses them on her cat and dogs nails and says that they do a fine job. I would think that would have to be a personal choice though. Good luck and safety first always with our fur babies!❤️ T. Raymond

I purchased a pair of Well and Good cat claw clippers for my elderly cat. His back claws are quite large and difficult to trim. These worked great and were easy to use. I had previously purchased a cheaper clipper which broke when trying to trim his claws.

We needed new clippers for our cats and thought we would give this one a try. They are easy to ue, and trim quickly and neatly. No fussing from our cats when we used them.

Not easy to use. Wanted scissor like cat clippers but you only had one type.

This is my second purchase because I either misplaced my other ones, or the cats hid it. It is sturdy, clips firmly and stays sharp. Highly recommended.
