Place your index finger inside the toothbrush. Place a small amount of dog toothpaste, sold separately, on bristles of the toothbrush. Pull back your dog's cheek and begin brushing teeth and gums using a small circular motion. No rinsing is required. To clean toothbrush, simply rinse with warm water and let air dry. Questions
What happened to the Well & Good finger brushes with longer flexible silicone "bristles"? Are those still being made? That type worked out much better for my dog. These bristles are so short that it makes brushing difficult & irritating for my dog's gums
- There are still Well & Good dog finger tooth brushes available at Petco for $5.99 for a two pack. If you google this product, you can find several sellers.

- I bought them to use on my ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ, but her response led me to believe I may lose that finger if I put it in her mouth. She was not open to it, but it would depend on the ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ.

Lilly is 5 & a half year old,used to eats grain free greenies daily for over a year maybe.Stopped couple of weeks ago.Now getting petsmile sometimes,no brushing though,give it to her as a treat.She always had beautiful teeth until after her second annual cleaning,her teeth don't look great since them.Nothing new,same vet,same routine.Next cleaning in February.Should I use silicone finger toothbrush,cloth,bristled silicone finger toothbrush,long handled toothbrush? I bought Sentry Petrodex toothpaste and my dog hates me trying to brush her teeth even with all of the suggestions provided to gradually introduce her to it.. However, she loves greenies and I put a little of the toothpaste on the greenie and she will eat the greenie and chew it good. I do this once daily. Her teeth have improved a lot. I only put about the tip of an index finger amount on the greenie. Is this a safe method since she is eating the toothpaste?

What is the best product available to remove plaque from my dogs teeth?
I’m interested in the water additive product Healthymouth (healthymouth.com). Even brushing as often as I can his back teeth and canines are staring to get bad plaque and I want to avoid a dental cleaning as long as possible. My mom swears by this and her dog’s vet has commented on how her oral health has improved. I’ve read cinnamon and clove essential oil are bad for dogs, but I see both cinnamon and clove as ingredients. It got a VOHC seal of acceptance though. Hoping to get a vet opinion!
