This smells decent and is much better than the alternative. My dog hasn't been skunked, but I've smelled skunks in the area and thought this would be good to have on hand in case it's needed. While I hope not to need this, I'll be glad I have it if I do.

Love the smell of the shampoo! The bottle it comes in is nice, easy to use. It is sealed and easy to open, instructions are clear. My dog has not been sprayed by a skunk, so I gave it four stars since I don’t know how it will handle covering the smell. But it leaves my dog fresh and clean after a wash!

I do like this shampoo. It has a nice scent and cleans well. My furball loves to roll in bunny poop and this shampoo has definately helped. (bunny poop smell is hard to get rid of). I will continue to use this shampoo for doggie baths.

Got Petcos new skunk shampoo for dogs. It works very well I love the way my dog smells after he showers. Since he’s a bit older he does have a strong odder but this shampoo has been working magic. My dogs never been sprayed by a skunk but I’m at least ready if he ever does.

This shampoo is to keep on hand for emergency skunk encounters! I have not used it on my dog yet and hope I don’t have to but am happy to know it sits on the shelf waiting for a necessary occasion. It does however smell awesome, a fruity strawberry kind of smell, the ingredients say peppermint but it doesn’t smell of that. It’s a nice consistency, not too runny or too thick.

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. Full disclosure- My dog has not been sprayed by a skunk since I received the shampoo (thankfully!). She is, however, a "lake dog" and finds all kinds of smelly things to roll in on a regular basis, including otter poop and dead fish! She has short, very dense hair and boy, does she ever hold on to the smell. We bathed her with this shampoo for her "lake" smells and it seems to have worked well. It lathered up well, was easy to rinse, removed the noxious odor and replaced it with a pleasant, not overpowering scent. If she is ever sprayed with a skunk again (it has happened), I will update this review with my more accurate assessment of its effectiveness on skunk scent. I can tell you, after she was sprayed before, I would have tried ANYthing to get that smell out. So, don't hesitate to give this a try if needed!

As a reveiwer I was sent this product, and we have an obligation to use and review products with relative good turn around. Thankfully, my dog has not been skunked. Looking at the ingredients, I can't stab a guess. It does lather up nicely on my hands under cold water, which I tested as such given one might be using it outside with a garden hose. The smell is also pleasant, but not overwhelming. It did not cause irritation to my skin. I'm glad to have it on hand. Should we need it, I am happy to have something that I can try without trying to make a messy concoction.
