Ingredients

Sorbitol, Water, Hydrated Silica, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Sodium Bicarbonate, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Chloride, Flavor. Cellulose Gum.

To introduce brushing to your dog, place a small amount of toothpaste on the tip of your finger and offer it as a treat, encouraging your dog to lick it off, or gently rub it onto the gum line in a circular motion. Next, apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste to both sides of the toothbrush. Gently expose your dog's front teeth. Start brushing in a very gentle back and forth motion. Brush a few teeth at a time until your dog is comfortable, slowly working up to sliding the toothbrush along the gum line to the back teeth to clean. Always praise your dog to ensure this is a positive experience. Brush daily or at least 3 times per week.

The two stars are for the fact she didn’t mind the flavor and the toothbrush is good, but if this toothpaste isn’t safe for humans it can’t be safe for anyone. The ingredients are junk. It gave my pup bad gas!

Well & Good Dental Health Kit with Chicken-Flavored Toothpaste is absolute awesome! My cats were calm throughout the whole process, I think largely due to the awesome flavor of the toothpaste as well as the gentle toothbrush that is provided. I have had such difficulty in the past getting my cats (5, 15 years of age) to tolerate a quick dental drive by, but this made it easy peezy! Don't look any further, this is the product you need.

I have a very small 4lb yorkie. This is the first toothbrush/toothpaste he has used. He has no problem with the toothpaste. He does like it. But the toothbrush is too big for his small mouth. I instead used the smaller finger toothbrush which works ok. But I dont feel cleans his teeth enough. I will keep using the toothpast but look for another smaller brush.

My dog seems to enjoy this toothpaste! He has always had issues with his teeth and this has helped to reduce the plaque on his teeth. The only complaint is that the brush is too large for my 7 pound chihuahua.

I started using this with my dogs about a month ago. Since then, we went to the vet and she commented on how great my dog's teeth looked! Both of my dogs really like the taste of the toothpaste and it makes brushing their teeth easy!

I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to try this chicken flavored toothpaste on my dog to help with her bad breath and tartar control. The good news is she didn't bite me. She licked it off my finger like it says for the first time. It is very sticky. She didn't really enjoy it. The next step was to put a little on the brush and brush in circular motions. We made it through one side before she was not going to allow me to keep going on the other note the back of her mouth. I tried again after giving her a couple of treats. Maybe we try again another day. However, she was having no more of it today as she hopped off the couch and ran away..... sorry, while i was hoping for a 5 star review, my dog and i had to give it a 2.

This is a nice kit to brush your dog's teeth, the toothpaste has a very minimal smell and helps my dogs breath, plus they like the flavor! The finger brushes are also nice. I'm not crazy about the long brush because of the shape, it feels awkward to brush their teeth compared to a normal shape toothbrush, and it made my dogs gums bleed a little. If they replaced the round toothbrush with a normal shape dog toothbrush it would be perfect!

Toothpaste was fine, no issues with the pup liking the flavor. Tried to get him used to the little finger things and brush, trying to let him sniff and lick the items and just get used to it touching him. So far no luck with the new implements. In concept it’s a good idea to not get dog slobber all over your hands and a better brush coverage. But he was never really a fan of the teeth brushing and just has not taken to the new implements.
