Too rough for the inner eye area

AliceCD

I got these because my cats are aging and one of them is no longer doing a very good job of face washing. Unfortunately they are rather rough in texture compared to a cotton round so he refuses to let me use them. I don't recommend them, quality cotton rounds and water are less expensive and work just as well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

They were okay, but just for 2 of my 3 cats.

I used this product on all 3 of my cats. My youngest, a 1 year old silver tabby, didn't seem to mind them, but he hardly has eye patches. My oldest, a 26 year old black tailed cymerick, has pretty bad eye leakage, she didn't like them, but they seemed to work well on her patches. Lastly is my 2 year old Maine & persian mix, she is white and grey and suffers from red tear stains, she hated the eye wipes, so I was really not able to get a good test on her. The wipes came with2 wipes stuck to the glue of the seal for the product, I mean, it was sealed to the foil. The product wasn't wet, it seemed like it has dried in transit, or, if that is how damp they are, I recommend adding more liquid, they were very, very dry.

Yes, I recommend this product.

In the directions it states; "Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eye, rinse thoroughly with water." This is an eye wipe, how am I supposed to avoid the eyes??? If it could hurt my cats' eyes, why would I even use this???

  1. Youโ€™re not supposed to use them IN the eye, theyโ€™re wipes for AROUND the eye. If you touch the actual eyeball or get the solution into the eye, you need to flush it out

Please post the ingredents. thanks.

  1. Water,Glycerin,Phenoxyethenol, benzoic acid, aloe leaf juice, polysorbate20, sodium benzoate, tocopheryl acetate, boric acid, zinc bisabolol

Can this be used on dogs? I bought by mistake

  1. Hi Levi007, We suggest that it be used only for cats. Thanks,

Will these wipes also work for wiping ears clean? I don't mean treating ear mites, just for occasional cleaning.

  1. Hi KatSD62, Yes you can, but we suggest that you also purchase ear wipes for your pet.. Thanks,

Will these pads help with whitening yellow stains on a cat with white fur?

  1. I would suggest using fresh lemon juice on a cosmetic pad and put the fresh lemon juice on the pad and apply only to fur NOT to skin. The lemon juice is a natural cleaner for stains of about any kind.
