Toothpaste is not working to entice my cat. The directions say to try a tiny bit on them as a treat to get started. It's a bright white opaque and very sticky liquid. No smell to my nose. Cat is utterly uninterested and if I get some on her mouth or paw she acts offended and then it is hard to get out of her fur and gets on other things. I will look for other options.

I like this product and it makes me happy to know I'm helping to keep my babies' teeth healthy. This should be used when your kittens are young so they get used to it. I have had older cats in the past and they don't like their teeth being brushed if you just spring it on them at a later age. Kittens are much easier to train. I started when they were 4 months. I give them one treat after so they know they did good. :)

I’m not surprised, but my cats do not like their teeth being brushed. I thought the flavor would intrigue them, however, they were not even remotely interested in the smell or taste or the “toothpaste”.

The Well & Good Dental Health Kit comes with a decent sized tube of toothpaste and two brushing options. None of our three cats particularly enjoyed the taste of the toothpaste, and all attempts to brush their teeth were difficult.

Sir Hades received his #spottedbypetco shipment today! We started off with letting him get acquainted with the Good & Well Toothbrush & Chicken Flavored Toothpaste (outside of the packaging 🙂). He of course was super fond of rubbing on his toothbrush when it wasn't in his mouth 🤣 but he was a good boy when it came time for actually brushing. I was hoping the chicken flavor of the paste would keep him intrigued, but realistically... toothpaste is toothpaste. I will say that it did not smell bad; if at all, and glides on the brush from the tube easily. I DIG this product!!! My cats tend to be very picky about flavors, so it took them a few days to get used to the toothpaste flavor with this kit, but after a couple of weeks of giving them small (smear on fingertips) samples, they are acting more like it's a treat than anything else. (Previous attempts to get them to accept a gel type toothpaste were not successful.) I've tried both the brushes with them, but I'll only be using the toothbrush, not the finger brush. The toothpaste tends to get ground into the bristle texture area on the finger brush, and it's a hassle to clean and requires your cat to really be comfortable with you sticking your whole finger in their mouth. The toothbrush, on the other hand, seems to be soft enough on kitty gums and is now acting as toothbrush, excellent stick toy, and chin scratching brush for both cats.

Making sure you have adequate dental hygiene for your cats is important. “I received these products for free from the Spotted by Petco sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” I use the little finger brush on my sphynx. Then i use bruah on my bigger furry cats. They seem to not be to uoset by brushing so thats amazing. The seem to adapt to the flavor too. So seems to be a win in my book. Unsure what to post? Check

This is a nice dental set for cats. My cats are not accustomed to getting tooth brushings so this was a test case to see how receptive they would be to it. The chicken flavored paste was only interesting to my youngest cat. The others had no interest at all in it, from my finger or the tube so I couldn’t even start the dental with them. It might work for those training young cats for dental cleanings.
