Gentle bristles that picks up shedding hair

TuxCatDad

I bought this brush when I first got my kitten, and always picks up loose skin and undercoat. I do have to brush her for a few minutes to pick up more hair, so this seems to be a gentler brush. As of now, no complaints and I will continue to use it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very disappointing. It doesn't remove even half of the fur that my old brush from a different brand removes. I have a cat struggling with hairballs and he needs to be brushed daily in order not to vomit hairballs. I ordered this brush because it is bigger and has longer handle than the one I have but it doesn’t remove even half of the fur my cat needs to be removed.

Questions

1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Would this brush be good for kittens?

  1. It’s a gentle brush so I believe it should be suitable for a kitten. My cat is a short hair black tabby and she loves it. We started to use it on her when she was an 4 months old.

Is the wire made of plastic or metal?

  1. The wire is metal, of course, but each tip is coated in plastic.

I couldn't figure out how to remove the fur on the brush?? Can anyone kindly inform me? Thx

  1. I find a toothpick will lift the whole wad of hair out of the brush. I also just use my fingers.
