My long haired girl loves this brush. It has a handle that is comfortable for me to hold and the bristles are very gentle. It seems like it is durable and will last a long time. It is great for working out tangles.

They lay down to get brushed and fall asleep. The soft bristle side is great for daily use and the thick metal side is wonderful for keeping the snarled out and for really thick hair. The little metal bristles have a plastic coating on the top to assure they won’t scratch your dogs skin. I really love the handle as well! It is a thick handle that makes it easy to grip and is comfortable to hold. The durability of this brush is fantastic as it is well made and is not losing any bristles like others I have used. I would recommend this if you’re looking to get a new brush for your pup!

I was needing a dog brush that was gentle for my pup. He has sensitive skin around allergy season. This brush is perfect. The handle is very comfortable as an extra bonus. Because he has longer hair in some areas the pin side is perfect and the bristle part is gentle for his belly brushing.

I first tried this brush with my short haired Chihuahua because I wanted something with smooth bristles to shine up her coat in between washes and take care of any small bits of leaves and things that get on her during walks. The long bristle side is much longer than needed for a short coat (obviously) but the soft bristles worked exactly as I needed them too. Her coat is smooth, shiny, and clean. The bristles didn't hurt her skin either and she seemed to like being brushed after she got used to it. I then tried it on my medium hair lengthed cat because he was sniffing at it intently. My cat loves this brush! The longer wire bristles get through his coat easily and I could see it being useful for cats that get mats and longer hair dogs. He enjoys the soft bristles best of all, especially rubbing his face again them. He really enjoys the feeling of the soft bristle side even if he doesn't need brushing and it'll probably become a nice 'toy' for him. I think the brush is built well; it feels very solid in my hand. The wood handle has a nice smooth feeling and the curves make it fit in my hand nicely. It doesn't feel like its going to slip out of my hand as I'm brushing. I've only used it for a short time but no bristles feel as if they are going to fall out. Not sure how well it will stand around water though given it is wood. All in all I think it's a nice looking brush that is suitable for both cats and dogs of different coat lengths.

Pros: -The build quality of the brush is nice. The bamboo structure is really smooth and pleasing. -Aesthetically pleasing -It gets the job done. Cons: -The pin side of the brush is not as effective as the same part of Samwise’s old brush (I don’t remember its brand or name, but it was a basic brush). Expect to pass over your dog’s fur more times than you perhaps think you should have to in order to get all his or her hair. Overall, I would rate this product somewhere from 6.5-7 out of 10.

My dog has medium to long straight fur and this brush is perfect for him. The bristle side is convenient for getting sand/grass out of his coat and the brush side helps with deshedding. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Comfortable handle. Easy to use. My dog loves when I pull it out.

This is my dogs favorite brush to be brushed with. They will actually just lay there while be brushed and look at me sadly when I’m done. It does a good job getting lose fur off your dog. I like the shape of the handle.The only thing I didn’t like about the brush is that if your dog has thick fur and some of their fur is tangled the brush has a hard time getting through it. This resulted in losing some of the bristles.

This is the nicest brush we have had for our puppy. Very well made. Strong and durable, yet soft enough it doesn't hurt our sweetie. This is going to be our go to brush for a long time. I'm so excited to have it to use!
