Not weather proof. When it rains, the inside gets wet, defeating the purpose of the dog house.

Building my own doghouse would be more expensive and time-consuming due to costs of wood. This was a good option. They do not give you thick heavy wood, but what do you expect? It is sturdy and the way the wood is cut, when you put it in place and assemble it (20 mins for me) it is a solid structure. I know there were complaints about parts arriving damaged. I actually had three parts damaged in the box, but when I contacted Ware, they replaced the parts immediately. I cannot complain, except my dumb dog still likes sitting under my cars a lot of the time. Thankfully, he gets into the doghouse more often these days, though.

This is the cheapest built dog house I have ever seen. Received box with cracked and broken parts. Do not buy! not worth 50 dollars...what a rip off...cheap...cheap...crap!

I love my new dog house. I get to stay outside and enjoy our courtyard in comfort.

I am sending this review in hopes of helping other people avoid this purchase. I am completely disappointed. Although it looks very nice on the website, the actual doghouse is very poor quality. The one sent to me had 5 broken pieces on the side panels, wood trims and roof areas. I was unable to assemble anything due to the broken pieces and was left with a big mess of an unfinished doghouse and broken pieces. I am completely heartbroken since I was so excited to have a nice doghouse for my puppy, and especially disappointed that I paid over $200 for it!

Great product. Easy assembly. Looks great. My dog loves it. Hes a english bulldog and french bulldog mix. Med door opening 16in high. Plenty of room inside. Took me 20 to 30 mins to put together. Overall excellent experience.
