This product is cruel and disgusting. Petco as a whole needs to stop abusing animals and selling these small cages so animals cannot even walk around or move. Imagine spending your entire life in this cage

ok for a travel cage. The wire for the water bottle wasn't there and the clips did snap down the top half of the cage correctly. Defect in the bottom of the cage.

So I hope people that are getting this cage for there hamster sees this because that is way to small and it needs to be able to move around and explore! And make sure you get ur hamster on a good diet so it won’t be unhealthy also that wheel is probably a 4-6 inch wheel which is too small because it can have back problems and can get really hurt. And at least needs 6 inches of bedding and 2-3 hides. I’m telling ya’ll because hamsters have a small life span for 1-2 years maybe 3 yrs only if u keep them healthy and in a good cage. The ikea Detof is good for your hamster to be in also a 20-50 gallon tanks are good! You can even make a big custom one! Well thank u for reading this

It is horrid that companies even make these. The ONLY exception would be for transportation - IE - trip to the vets.

This is way too small for even a dwarf hamster. For a hamster, you need a base of at least 450" sq. It would be good as a travel cage though.

I bought this cage this week for my mouse Fig, just waiting on her food but I've bought her another bag in store. There were NO instructions and the wire for the water bottle was inside the bottle. It was not hard to build it though! The wheel is very loud so I did not get much sleep but Fig is enjoying her new home. The water bottle leaks at a bad angle so you have to keep it upright as much as possible. Other than that the aspects of the cage are fine. She had to get used to the tube. It's a nice cage but I might as well replace the wheel. It is big enough for two mice but if you want a more "spacious" cage I guess 1 is fine.

This cage is too small for any animal, even a mouse. It is much too small for a standard size hamster. The only time you should keep an animal in a cage this size is for transport.

This dimensions of this one would be better suited for a single mouse or a dwarf size hamster. Maybe even for one animal it could be considered too small to house one in for their short lives. The inside dimensions should always be given for any cage for any animal because that is important. That is the space the animal actually gets. The inside dimensions for this cage are about 13.75" L x 7.75" W. The wheel is 5.75" in diameter. The water bottle spout should be longer than it is because it may be too short at lowest setting on this cage if the bedding is an inch thick or less or if just a few sheets of paper are used. The one I got had a dis attached or broken wire and I had to bend out some of the wire hooks to assemble it. There were some other imperfections.
