Should I get this for My mouse or my hamster?
- Neither. I am a mouse mom of 12 (yes, I said 12) who has fostered hamsters before, and this is good for neither. Also, if your mouse is a female, PLEASE get at least two (I recommend more)!

I plan on getting this for a guinea pig. Should I keep it in the cage all the time or take it out occasionally? One of my piggies LOVES salty stuff and I'm afraid she'll have too much salt.
- Don't even buy this. It's like being handed a block of salt. It's not in any way necessary or healthy or even good. That's 5 dollars you can spend on actual good stuff for your guinea pig.

- Mine lasted for about 6 months. Depends on the animals. I would replace it when it's gone.

- not for guinea pigs unless an experienced vet has told you your piggie needs it for medical reasons. Its not a guinea pig product despite it saying that on the packaging.
