Are these safe for rats? Im going to get two fancy rats soon and I don't want top make them sick.
- Color wise unsure since they obviously contain some kind of color dye but they should be fine as long as you provided them wood chews to trim there teeth they'll be ok . My hamster doesn't like wood chews I have to get her things like apply biscuits or winnies chews or the cheese ecotrition solid one she loves those Good luck

what kind of wood exactly are these made from?
- I can confirm that the kiln-drying process (ie the "heat treatment" referred to in the Ware employee's response) destroys the harmful phenols in pine wood, rendering it safe for small animals to chew. Products like this made for pets are always dyed using food colorings that are safe if ingested.

My mom got my Fluff guinea pig from the store. It has stuff I don’t know what it is. It has peanuts with the shell to. My sister told me they can’t have the internet said they can but not to many. Hello. Figgy has developed what looks like a wort/ skin (gum) tag on her lip. Please see the pictures. It doesn't appear to be upsetting her, but it has appeared and grown quickly. Is this normal? Do we need take her to a vet to have it cut off?
