If she's a calm dog, possibly. But if she'll jump around then it would not work well. Since it's a fabric surround, an active dog can likely push it over. Our 15 lb puppy was able to jump around in it and move the whole thing. I'd guess a 45lb dog would be able to possibly get under the base as well as it only velcros.

I don't have experience of having a bunny so I can't speak for that particular animal. I do however have a 14 year old Boston Terrier. I purchased this soft sided, velcro bottom cage for him last year after he went blind. I wanted something that would give him larger space than a hard crate and be soft on him if he ran into it. The velcro bottom makes it easy to remove the bottom to clean it. However, it's not the best seal on it. So if your bunny makes messes in this soft-sided crate or if you have material in there (hay? or whatever type stuff that might be small material) then those things could leak out of the bottom edges of the enclosure. So if the flooring underneath is not something you want to soil then I would not recommend this velcro bottom crate for your needs. My dog was able to move it while he was inside of it if he rammed into the sides enough. Even once we came home and he had somehow collapsed it / knocked it over from the inside and then had gotten out of the bottom. If it had a zippered bottom instead of velcro he probably wouldn't have been able to escape. I hope this information helps you make a decision. Thanks!

Yes he could get out of the bottom. The fact that rabbits like to burrow leads me to believe, this might be a stretch thinking he won't find the escape route.
